Separate connector and desk obligations
The official Halo NinjaOne guide, reviewed October 6, 2026, describes scheduled and webhook alert processing, ticket closure/alert reset behavior, and a custom developer-app authentication method that does not support webhooks. The configured authentication and processing path therefore matter. Read the current maker instructions rather than assuming every installation behaves the same way.
The service provider still needs a defined queue and action policy. A working connector can send an alert to the wrong team, close a ticket before the user confirms restoration or expose an asset beyond the intended tenant. Test those cases in your own permitted environment.
Use an acceptance matrix
| Case | Expected control | What to retain |
|---|---|---|
| New client request | Correct client, contract and ticket type | Intake and rule outcome |
| Alert-created ticket | Appropriate team and priority | Device mapping and lifecycle timestamps |
| Ticket resolution | Agreed relationship to alert reset | Evidence from both systems |
| Repeated fault | Reopening or new incident follows your policy | Preserved prior action history |
| Approval-required script | No automatic execution without authority | Approver and runbook version |
| Staff access removal | Delegated actions stop | Revocation test and retained owner access |
A lifecycle rule should reflect operational meaning. A cleared signal is not always a verified business restore, and a user's resolved request should not suppress a different infrastructure fault. Record which team decides the closure state and which exceptions keep a parent incident open.
Identify the right product in provider evidence
The NOC 24/7 profile and 31West profile discuss explicit HaloPSA naming in reviewed material. Worksent's generic Halo label is kept as unspecified in this site's directory. That distinction prevents an unsupported product match; it does not say Worksent cannot support your installation. Obtain written exact-product confirmation.
Ask for a demonstration with your proposed roles and sanitized tickets, not an administrator account that bypasses the restrictions the outsourced desk will face. Verify that ticket time, actions, attachments and communications remain reviewable by your retained team. Discuss whether those records are buyer-owned and available at exit.
Include supervision in the purchase
Agree who maintains rules when client contracts, applications and coverage change. Measure the buyer's review and correction effort during the help desk pilot. Put unsupported workflows, update responsibilities and access revocation into the RFP. Use the NinjaOne workflow guide if that is your RMM, and keep the broader integration worksheet as the comparison record.
A newly located named provider claim
Mission Control's HaloPSA page names direct integration and describes applicable-ticket synchronization in both directions. Reviewed October 6, 2026. Include it as a research candidate with a named product claim; do not treat its intake-form product list as proof of other connectors. Request the same client mapping, action ownership, permissions, retry and closure demonstration from this candidate as from the others. No first-hand integration test is claimed here.
